How to Apply Foundation..

September 30, 2016

Hi all my lovelies..

We all know the base to any makeup on our face is foundation. Without foundation our face doesn’t look flawless because foundation covers up all flaws and make our face look even and flawless.

If you struggle with applying your foundation for a natural look, don’t worry – it’s a common problem. Look out for the perfect shade, take your time to apply it the right way, and then set your foundation for the best of makeup circumstances. Soon enough, you’ll be praised for the quality of your skin rather than the talent of your makeup application.

Here are the few things to remember while Applying Foundation

Choose the Right Foundation colour

Your foundation is the basis for the rest of your makeup. To make sure that it acts as a blank canvas, choose a foundation that identically matches your skin tone. Try multiple shades of foundation on your face rather than your hand or your neck and stick with the colour that matches your skin tone without blending.

Decide on the Texture

Foundation comes in different varieties of textures, including loose powders, compact powders, creams, liquids.

Always see your skin whether it is oily or dry accordingly try the foundation on your face and see which feels comfortable and looks realistic on your face.

Get the right Tools

You can apply foundation with fingers, brush or with a sponge. Its up to you which tool you are comfortable with in blending the foundation on your face.

Prep your face

Always cleanse your face with a good cleanser suiting your skin tone and then moisturise it will a good moisturiser.

Applying Foundation

Apply Face Primer

Primer sets the foundation on face for long. So use a primer to smooth out the skin and seal in imperfections.

Put on your Foundation

Regardless of whether your foundation is a liquid, cream, or powder, it should be applied first in the centre of your face. Then dot on your all face near nose, chin and forehead.

Blend Foundation

Use your tool of choice to blend your foundation around your face. Foundation should blend smoothly into your neck and hairline. Prevent your foundation from being too thick by spreading it out. Otherwise, your face will look cakey.

Touch up on Spots & Marks

If you do have uneven skin in certain areas like acne, dark spots, or under-eye circles, use your foundation to touch up on these areas. Use a concealer to hide those marks and spots.

Finish up on your foundation

Finish up your entire face with setting powder. Use translucent, matte powder that helps prevent your foundation from sliding around while preventing oil build up from showing through.

So these were the ways to apply flawless foundation on your face hiding all marks and dark spots on the face.

Thanks for letting us know to moisturize before the application my cheeks are quite dry. I love natural products to treat my body because of chemical free ingredients that is usually safe for daily use. 100% natural brands such as Omved, Kamaayurveda, Forestessentials, TBS etc. Omved PROTECTIVE Face Moisturiser is my favorite as it keeps my skin hydrate all day long. The other brands are good but little bit expensive though. Thanks for sharing!
