Experience using L’Oreal Paris Infallible Powder Foundation
It comes in 4 shades 225 Beige, 160 Sand Beige, 245 Warm Sand, 123 Warm Vanilla
The powder foundation comes in a small medium rectangular shape compact box with a mirror and a sponge inside it.
It is quiet travel friendly. Can be easily kept in handbag or purse.
The texture of the product is soft. Its texture is like normal compact powder.
The sponge of the powder foundation is not that great. I use other sponge or brush. The sponge given with this product does not blend properly the product on the face.
It can be used as a foundation too just you have to wet the sponge and apply the product on the face. I never use it as wet foundation. I feel it looks powdery on my skin if I do that.
The coverage is not good. I am not happy with the coverage.
It gives light to medium coverage. And every 2 hours I need to reapply the product.
Staying power is also poor. It hardly stays for 2 to 3 hours depending on the skin tone. Mine is oily skin tone so I need to keep using after 2 hours.
Yes the texture is matte finish. This won’t cover up any blemishes or spots on the skin you need to apply concealer to hide the blemishes.
Overall I am disappointed with this powder foundation.
I would recommend this to who have normal to dry or combination skin and need something light weight and easy to use for daily wear.
Pros of L’Oreal Paris Infallible Powder Foundation
- It acts as a foundation when applied damp and otherwise works as a compact powder
- Comes with sponge and big mirror inside
- Texture is soft
- Gives Matte Finish
Cons of L’Oreal Paris Infallible Powder Foundation
- No Spf
- Low coverage
- Staying power is weak
I am not a great fan of powder foundation so I hardly try it but since it was from L’Oreal I thought of giving it a try. I am just in to liquid foundation. This powder foundation is big disappointment for me. I am not gonna try this again. It might suit for other people but it didn’t suit my skin nor it gave me anything what I was expecting out of it.
