Experience using Maybelline V Face Duo Powder

This powder comes in 2 shades Light – Medium and Medium – Dark. I picked Medium –  Dark which is perfect for my skin tone.

It comes in plastic packaging where all ingredients and instructions are written about the product. The powder is like normal compact powder packaging. It is round in shape with black colour with a big silver V written on the top of the box.

It is very sturdy and easy to handle and can be carried in hand bag. It has a mirror and a small brush to apply the powder. I am really happy with the packaging and that they have given mirror and brush which is great idea when travelling we don’t need to carry extra mirror or any other brush to apply the powder.

The powder comes in a V form where you get a lighter powder to set the face and highlight the concealer, below contour, etc. and the darker powder to contour or set the duo stick contour.

This powder is not at all pigmented. Thank god I picked up this shade if I would have picked the light-medium shade it would have not shown at all on my face.

This powder doesn’t show any contours or highlighter if just applied alone without duo stick.

I literally layered up 6 to 7 times to get little pigmentation.

The consistency of the powder is like normal compact powder smooth and silky and it easily blends on face.

This power and the duo stick doesn’t give you perfect contouring and highlighting look but it’s a good option for daily use when we actually don’t need that strong contouring and highlighting look.

It has SPF 32 PA+++ which is good thing in the powder.

This powder was there on my face for 4 to 5 hours which is decent. After that as my skin is oily it shows little oil on my face. It might work best for people with dry skin or less oily skin.

The brush is decent enough to apply the product. I am using the brush given by them only so that I get habit using it while travelling.

Overall it’s a decent powder. For 500 rupees it’s a decent setting powder.

Recommendation –

Yes I will recommend to girls who have just started makeup. This will be great for them to practice and these are affordable range.  It is easy to carry has a mirror and a brush which is great. They have only 2 shades to select from which is not a good deal. The powder is decent and can give a try.

I already have NYX sculpt and highlighter duo, which is a great product for beginners. Will try this powder too. Great review.
