Experience using Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera gel can be used for skin, hair and even for health. This gel comes in transparent tube with flip cap to get the product. The colour of the gel is dark green. It’s quite easy to carry and is very travel friendly. It has a mild fragrance which goes off after few seconds. My skin is super oily and acne prone so I am always scared to use any products on my skin. But this gel worked decently on my face. You don’t need much of the gel just a little is too much for face. It glides easily and the texture is smooth and bit thick and sticky. You can use this on your face and neck as a moisturiser . You can also use this gel on your hairs. Just dab some gel on your scalp for 1 hour and wash it off it will make your scalp clean and it will also hydrate your hairs giving a shiny hairs. Can be also used as hair pack. I just take small amount of gel in to my palm and apply in dots and massage it. It takes few seconds for it to dry of completely. After it dries skin feels smooth. It didn’t help to control any oil. My face gets oily after few hours as usual. It didn’t help to control my acne nor it reduced any blemishes on my skin. To be frankly I didn’t find anything different on my face but as it’s good for skin I use this gel.

Somehow Patanjali products seem very average for my skin. Though I try to include aloe gel naturally from my garden onto my skin.

Aloe vera gel is suitable for dry skin in winters. Such an insightful blog post. Well written.

I used it during their new launch and loved it back then but came to know about it’s fragrance and other hidden ingredients. Stopped using it but Nitin uses it at times as a moisturizer.

I think Aloe Vera only comes in handy when our skin is hurt… burned or injured… my Aloe Vera gel does not do much for me too but when I had a nasty sunburn, it was amazing….
