Today I will review The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Lotion. I got this lotion from Nykaa recently. I was very excited to try this lotion. I heard a lot of good things about this brand.

Directions-
Apply after toner and serum. Pump the appropriate amount and apply it to the skin until absorbed.
Experience using Face Shop White Seed Brightening Lotion
It comes in a grey colour cardboard packaging with all ingredients and other details printed on it. The lotion comes in a white cute plastic bottle with pump dispenser with a cap. I like the packaging it looks classy and sturdy.

The texture of the lotion is not thick and it’s not runny too. It has a very pleasant and beautiful smell which stays for few mins.
I use it twice a day after toning my face. I didn’t find any major difference on my skin. It makes my skin oily after few hours and when I touch my face it feels bit oily and greasy which I don’t like it. My face is already very oily and I had a very high expectation from this lotion. it glides on skin smoothly. You just need a very little quantity for full face.

But this lotion moisturises the skin and gives the skin a glow making the skin look healthy and glowing.
This lotion is a good lotion for people with dry to normal skin.

Recommendation –
It is overall a good lotion for people who just want their skin to get moisturised.
It is pretty expensive but if you are willing to invest you can try this lotion. It does not fulfil the whitening purpose. It has beautiful smell and you just require a pea size for whole face. If you want to buy this lotion for skin brightening it’s of no use.
If you want a healthy looking and nice smelling skin and the price is worth spending then go for this product.
Sadly TFS products hardly agree with my skin type. I have used this lotion but it broke me out. Great that it worked for you
It is a very expensive product and if you are saying that it did not even brighten your skin, then I will definitely skip this one.
A very honest review.But it doesn’t seem too fulfil the brightening promise.How long did you try this though?I have seen lotions like these often need long term use.
I have used this lotion too and had similar experience. It is a very good moisturizer and thats about it. It does not give any extra brightening effect or anything as such.
So after your review it seems that it is good as a moisturizer but it doesn’t works for brightening the skin rather.
I love this range from The Face Shop. I’ve used this too and love the hydrating consistency. It is so amazing to use in the drier seasons.

I love The Faceshop, I’m curently using one from them and will defo try this one after.
Most skincare in The Faceshop are truly works for me 🙂 i wil try this product when I emptied my latest one.

i need a good moisturizer, however I am very finnicky on moisturizer. I dont want to spend a bunch of money for something I may not be happy with.

This looks like a good lotion but we really have to see to it that it matches our skin type. Too bad it doesn’t have SPF.
Sorry this didn’t live up to your expectations. I have dry skin and this would probably be good for me. However with sunny hot days I don’t think I’d use it in the day if it goes oily. Thanks for the review

Great review! Thanks for sharing. The product sounds great because of it’s mositurizing property however, I personally don’t use any brightening creams because I’m very happy with my dark complexion. Happy that it works for you x

What a detailed review. Face Shop has been quite popular in my country, and this product sounds like a must-try!
I would be bummed if my “spots” didn’t lighten after buying the product. I am glad it has a moisturizing quality and that it can make you look “dewy” but I would prefer to have it live up to its name.
This looks like an interesting product. My skin color is such that I need a lot of moisture to keep it healthy.
Interesting product. What are white seeds and not sure how they help the skin.
In the cons, when you said “didn’t do anything for my skin” what did that mean? Should I bother getting this if it’s not going to do anything? I like that it has a good smell, I like good smells in my products.
I am always looking for great products to try and use, I definitely like products that leave a healthy glow to my skin. Will have to check it out.
