Kryolan Supracolor Corrector

Today I will be talking about a color corrector from Kryolan which I am using frm almost one month now.

Do you have a bad dark circle under your eyes, which your concealer is not able to conceal ? Well then you need a under eye corrector to conceal them. Yes you heard it right. Concealer conceals the darkness around the eye area but not all concealers conceals it to the perfect.

 

I have a bad dark circles, it’s now years I have them because of iron deficiency and low haemoglobin in my body.

Normal to light dark circles can be concealed by the concealer but if you have dark circles which is real bad then you have to use under eye corrector to even it out.

I have used lot of brands for concealer but nothing worked out for me. So thought of trying these correctors. I never tried any corrector before. So was reading and found about Kryolan so thought about trying this brand.

Corrector comes in different shades and for different uses-

Lavender- yellowness in the skin

Yellow- counteracts deep purple tones such as dark circles or scarring; pale yellow works well to highlight brows

Green-  neutralizes redness, including diffuse redness on skin

Pink- Neutralizes a blue cast on lighter skin tones; can enliven very pale skin

Orange/Salmon- neutralizes blue to deep purple or greyish tones on deeper skin tones

 

 

Supracolor is a cream based corrector. This preparation is well known for its covering qualities, its excellent skin compatibility and the great assortment of available colors.
Shade : Mandarin is a orange toned corrector which suits most of the Indian skin tones in covering up the rigid under eye dark circles.

Packaging

It comes in a silver color small rectangle shaped box. Its quiet handy and travel friendly. It’s cute and easy to carry. You can open the box and use the product. The corrector can come out of the box and can be used effectively and after use you can keep the corrector back in the box. I am in love with the packaging. It sturdy, convenient and travel friendly.

Texture

Texture is thick and creamy. It might be little difficult to pick up the product and blend.

 

 

My take on the Kryolan Supracolor Corrector

 

It’s the good corrector. But only problem I faced is that it gives orangish color after applying under the eyes and it also get greasy after some time.

It gave a satisfactory coverage under the eyes. But after few hours it starts fading and gets greasy n patchy.

It has mild fruity smell in it which goes out after sometime.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The orange shade provides color correction giving you much fresher look. It blends well on a moisturized skin. I aslo got Kryolan Dermacolor Fixing powder along with this corrector which the Kryolan makeup artist suggested me to buy that time to fix the corrector under the eyes. I use this fixing powder after applying the corrector to set it properly.

I will also be revewing the Dermacolor Fixing powder soon. But after using this fixing powder also the corrector gets greasy after couple of hours which is not good.

Staying power is not that great it hardly stayed for 3 to 4 hours and after that it gets greasy and cakey.

Final Verdict

If you are fighting bad under eye dark circles then this is a must have product. It makes lot of difference to you overall appearance. It is a overall good corrector. It should be tried once. Its affordable and comes in sizes. You can try the small size if you like it and it does the job for you can buy the bigger size in it. It is travel friendly. Easy to carry and it is cute in packaging. Staying power is not that good and it gives greasy look after few hours. Overall a must try corrector which is very cheap.
