Hi all, Today I will be reviewing another bold shades. I have also reviewed Shade Raven, LA Girl Metal Liquid Lipstick in Shade Galvanise. I got this shade along with Raven.

Experience using LA Girl Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick in Shade Poetic
The Flat Matte Velvet lipsticks come in a plastic glossy black body with gold lettering. All ingredients and other details are printed on the tube.
The lid is capped with a small well of product that matches the colour of the lipstick inside. The shade name is printed on the lower half of the tube.
The lipstick bullets twist up with audible clicking noises, tending to slightly resist the final turn and they are flat top in shape. I found this cut really easy to work with. Even NYX matte lipsticks have such bullet which twists up with a clicking noise.

There’s pretty incredible colour pay off across the range here. I got one more shade in this range that is Poetic.
I didn’t find this formula drying at all. The texture is smooth and lightly creamy; they don’t tug at the lips at all. They have a light vanilla scent which I love it.

This shade Poetic is beautiful light grey shade. Its kind of weird and strange colour which we cant use on daily basis. This is something many girls might not like wearing it. But I wanted this shade in my lipstick collection.
I just love this shade. It brightens up my face and looks gorgeous. It is obviously not an everyday shade but I don’t mind such shade in my lipstick collection.
I feel this shade will suit all medium to fair skin tone people.
Staying power is very good. It stayed around 4 to 5 hours on my lips without smudging.

Recommendation –
Yes I will recommend this range of LA Matte lipsticks. They have many shades for all skin tones. Shade Poetic is light grey shade which is bold and not every day shade and many might not be comfortable with this shade but I love this shade. It is highly pigmented. It stays for 4 to 5 hours. I guess every lippie lover like me should have such bold shade in their collection. Overall a great lippie.

This is a very pretty shade. I like the matte better than anything myself. It seems to last longer than the glossy.

This is an interesting lip color. It looks lovely on you, but if I wore it my son would ask if I were cold. He has autism and says things that are on his mind without filter.

I’ve really grown fond of the matte look for lipsticks. My problem is I hate the way they feel.
Such a daring colour, loving that it’s matte and not overpowering. Haven’t tried it since I think I would totally not pull it off lol.
