Hi all… Recently I saw these new range launched on Nykaa and without thinking and trying to read about it I just ordered 3 shades from this range. Nykaa has launched new range of lipstick in 12 Shades called Nykaa Paintstix. This collection has very bold and bright shades which will be liked by many dark lipstick lovers like me.

Experience Using Nykaa Paintstix in Shade 08 Purple Monster
It comes in pink colour box with all ingredients and other details printed on it. The packaging is simple like other Nykaa lipstick range.
The lipstick comes in a cute sleek cylindrical shape packaging. The colour of the lipstick is known by it’s the upper part of the lipstick. I like the shape of the lipstick this time. It not like the regular ones. It is easy to carry in the bag.
The shade number and name is written on the bottom of the lipstick.
The texture of the lipstick is very creamy. It is easy to glide on the lips. The pigmentation of the lipstick is good. Nykaa claims its soft matte finish but I don’t agree it doesn’t give matte finish it gives glossy creamy look after application.
It gives the shades in 2 swipes. Staying power is poor it hardly stayed for 3 to 4 hours and yes it does transfers a lot and it does fade after few hours. It leaves the stain on the lips after it gets faded.
Overall a decent lipstick but I am not very happy with this range as I was expecting matte finish.
The shade Purple Monster is dark purple shade which will compliment all skin tones perfectly. It brightens my face and it looks pretty nice on my face. It is a bold colour and it can be worn on western as well on Indian dresses.
This range of lipstick has 12 shades out of which I bought 3. I feel all shades are pretty bold and dark and there is no nudes or lighter shade in this range.

Recommendation-
This range of Nykaa has all dark bold shades and many of you might like this range. The lipstick is very creamy and highly pigmented. Staying power is poor. It does leave stains on the lips. It easily transfers if eaten or drinking something. Overall a decent lipstick for those who are found of creamy and glossy lipstick unlike me I am a big fan of matte lipstick. I have two more shades to review from this range.

The shade is nice, but I am sort of disappointed that it does not stay on for a long time. I wish they’d improve on their formulation so that it would stay on for a longer time and not transfer to glasses or cups or anything. Thank you for your honest review.
I haven’t tried wearing purple lipstick before. Maybe I should try this exact shade and brand and see if it suits my complexion.

Never heard of this brand I usually use black opal or Huda beauty but makeup is all about experimental so I’ll try to find this brand.

This is such a pretty colour! I know you said that it fades quickly, but it would make a lovely stain for a more lowkey make up look 🙂
I am really loving these shades. Leaves stains and fading soon is the only issue. But I am checking out them.
I like wearing purple shades a lot. I think you should try this with a layer of powder in between two layers for little longer staying power

This shade looks really pretty… However I cannot manage non transfer proof lipsticks… So that’s one thing that disappoints me…

This is a wonderful shade, I have never tried directly from the Nykaa products would love to try this lipstick for sure. Like the packaging too, quite sleek.
