Who all are matte lipstick addict here? Well I can proudly say I am a matte lipstick addict. I can’t live without buying matte lipstick especially the liquid ones. I got this beautiful range of matte liquid lipsticks from Sugar cosmetics and I have 7 shades now. So let’s get started with the Review of Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick 21 Aubergine Queen.
Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick 21 Aubergine Queen comes in a cardboard packaging where all ingredients and other details are printed on it. The lipstick comes in a plastic transparent tube with a transparent bottom and the top comes in a matte black cap.
The applicator is doe foot applicator which helps to apply the lipstick effortlessly. Overall I loved the packaging it’s very much travel friendly and classy.
The texture of the lipstick is neither liquidly nor thick. The formula of the lipstick is awesome. It doesn’t look patchy or uneven. In one swipe you get the lipstick proper on the lips. After application within few seconds it dries and gives the perfect matte finish.
Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick 21 Aubergine Queen is super pigmented and is 100% opaque in one swipe.
They are quite drying so don’t forget to exfoliate your lips and moisture with a good lip balm before applying this liquid lipstick.
It has mild scent which goes off within few seconds after application.
Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick 21 Aubergine Queen is a beautiful deep maroon red shade that looks absolutely amazing on the lips. It is a very dark shade. This shade will flatter on all Indian skin tones. It might not be an everyday wearable shade but, I love it. Also, it is a pigmented shade that needs only one or two swipes. It works so well.
Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick 21 Aubergine Queen stays on my lips for good 6 to 7 hours. It is smudge-proof and transfer proof. It looks perfect throughout the day. It does not flake which is very good. It also survives lunch but, after a heavy oily lunch, it fades always slightly.
It does settle into fine lines too. But, I find it is very hard to remove the stain from the lips. You need a very good makeup remover to remove it properly. Overall, it is a very affordable liquid lipstick that performs well. This is one of my favourite dark lipstick shades and it looks lovely on my skin.

Yes I will highly recommend this liquid lipstick. It’s a must have in your makeup kitty. It’s a beautiful dark maroon red shade and will flatter on all Indian skin tone. It is smudge proof, transfer proof and stays for a good long time.
