The texture of the lipstick is neither liquidly nor thick. The formula of the lipstick is awesome. It doesn’t look patchy or uneven. In one swipe you get the lipstick proper on the lips. After application within few seconds it dries and gives the perfect matte finish.
The lipstick is super pigmented and is 100% opaque in one swipe. This shade is one of my best 13 Dark Lipsticks under Rs 1000 for Indian Skin Tone.

Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick 21 Aubergine Queen is a beautiful deep maroon red shade that looks absolutely amazing on the lips. It is a very dark shade. This shade will flatter on all Indian skin tones. It might not be an everyday wearable shade but, I love it. Also, it is a pigmented shade that needs only one or two swipes. It works so well.
It stays on my lips for good 6 to 7 hours. It is smudge-proof and transfer proof. It looks perfect throughout the day. It does not flake which is very good. It also survives lunch but, after a heavy oily lunch, it fades always slightly.
2 Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon Midnight Rose 12
Price – Rs 799
Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon comes with a sharpener which means you need to sharpen the crayon which I didn’t like. There will be product wastage due to sharpening.
Now coming to the shade it’s a beautiful red shade. This is perfect red matte lipstick. This shade will suit all skin tones. I love red lipsticks and this is one of my favourite red lipsticks.

The finish is perfect matte. Pigmentation of the crayon lipstick is very good. Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon glides smooth on the lips. The formula of the lipstick is not at all dry.
3 Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick Wine & Shine
Price – RS 499
Wine & Shine is a beautiful deep berry wine shade that looks absolutely amazing on the lips. It is a very dark shade and has a purple touch to it. This shade will flatter on all sin tones. It might not be an everyday wearable shade but, I love it. Also, it is a pigmented shade that needs only one or two swipes. It works so well. 4 Stay Quirky Liquid Lipstick Maroon Naughty Conversation Starter

Shade Maroon Naughty Conversation Starter is a beautiful pink lipstick with brown undertone. This shade will look good on medium to fair skin tones. It can be worn daily as this shade is light compared to other shades.
Staying power is pretty good. It stayed on my lips for 4 to 5 hours.

5 Nykaa Paintstix in Shade 05 Tender Rose
Price –Rs 425
The texture of the lipstick is very creamy. It is easy to glide on the lips. The pigmentation of the lipstick is good. Nykaa claims its soft matte finish but I don’t agree it doesn’t give matte finish it gives glossy creamy look after application.
It gives the shades in 2 swipes. Staying power is average it hardly stayed for 3 to 4 hours and yes it does transfers a lot and it does fade after few hours. It leaves the stain on the lips after it gets faded.
The Shade 05 Tender Rose is a beautiful fuchsia pink. It will compliment all skin tones perfectly. It brightens my face and it looks pretty nice on my face. It is a bold colour and it can be worn on western as well on Indian dresses.
6 Sugar Cosmetics Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick 01 Brazen Raisin
Price – RS 499
BRAZEN RAISIN is a beautiful deep-dark burgundy red, a shade which is really flattering on Indian skin tone of all complexions. This is my favourite red lipstick. I just love the overall matte effect on the lips. This shade is one of my best 13 Dark Lipsticks under Rs 1000 for Indian Skin Tone.

It stays for good 4 to 5 hours. It fades a bit if I eat something. It leaves a beautiful red stains on my lips if it gets faded. It does not transfers or smudges.
This lipstick brightens my face and looks beautiful. Overall it’s a beautiful matte lipstick and I am in love with this shade. You need a makeup remover to remove it completely from your lips. It settles on fine lines so be careful with that. Otherwise it’s a gem.
7 Stay Quirky Liquid Lipstick You’re My Girl Crush
Price – 449
Staying power is pretty good. It stayed on my lips for 4 to 5 hours.
Shade You’re y Girl Crush is a beautiful bold purple pink which will flatter all skin tones. It’s not a daily wear shade. It brightens my face and looks stunning.

8 PAC Retro Matte Gloss 17
Price – Rs 550
The lipstick is highly pigmented; one swipe is enough to cover entire lips perfectly. It settles into a matte finish few seconds. I just love its finish. It’s a perfect matte lipstick. It doesn’t smudge or transfers. Its staying power is awesome it stayed 6 to 7 hours on my lips. This shade is one of my best 13 Dark Lipsticks under Rs 1000 for Indian Skin Tone.
Shade 17 is a beautiful berry pink shade. It will suit all skin tone. It’s a pretty dark shade so you can’t wear on daily basis. It will best suit if you were on some occasion like parties or any other function. I just love this shade. It brightens my face after application. It’s a must have shade in everyone’s makeup kit.
9 LA Girl Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick in Shade Poetic
Price – Rs 550
The lipstick bullets twist up with audible clicking noises, tending to slightly resist the final turn and they are flat top in shape. I found this cut really easy to work with.
There’s pretty incredible colour pay off across the range here. I got one more shade in this range that is Poetic.

I didn’t find this formula drying at all. The texture is smooth and lightly creamy; they don’t tug at the lips at all. They have a light vanilla scent which I love it.
This shade Poetic is beautiful light grey shade. This is something many girls might not like wearing it.
It brightens up my face and looks gorgeous. I feel this shade will suit all Indian skin tone. This shade is one of my best 13 Dark Lipsticks under Rs 1000 for Indian Skin Tone.
10 Nykaa Paintstix Lipstick in Shade 12 Grunge Brown
Price –Rs 425
The texture of the lipstick is very creamy. It is easy to glide on the lips. The pigmentation of the lipstick is good.

Shade 12 Grunge Brown is a dark chocolate brown shade which will look good on all Indian skin tone.

11 LA Girl Matte Pigment Gloss in Stunner
Price- Rs 575
The long wearing formula goes on as a high pigmented liquid and dries to a flat matte finish.
Leaving lips coloured in gorgeous velvety perfection that stays for long on lips.
The colour is highly pigmented just once swipe is enough for full lips.
A single swipe gives an opaque finish which is vivid and vibrant. It stays for 5 to 6 hours on my lips.
12 Nykaa Paintstix in Shade 08 Purple Monster
Price –Rs 425
The texture of the lipstick is very creamy. It is easy to glide on the lips. The pigmentation of the lipstick is good.

The shade Purple Monster is dark purple shade which will compliment all skin tones perfectly. It brightens my face and it looks pretty nice on my face. It is a bold colour and it can be worn on western as well on Indian dresses.

There’s pretty incredible colour pay off across the range here. I got one more shade in this range that is Poetic.

This shade Raven is beautiful greenish black in shade. When I swatched on hand it looks dark black but when I applied on lips it gives greenish black shade. I just love this shade. It brightens up my face and looks gorgeous. It is obviously not an everyday shade but I don’t mind such shade in my lipstick collection.
I feel this shade will suit all Indian skin tone.
