I do often use lip liner with lipstick to prevent bleeding of the lipstick. I also blot to remove excess.

Woah! That lip colour is so dark. I have to say that there are very few lipsticks on the market that keeps my lips moisturised. This means that there are a ton of them that leave my lips dry and within 24-48 hours my lips are cracked.
